yeah i tried it. i used this technique where you count your fingers every hour for a coupler weeks and then youll do it in your dream and if you dont have 10 fingers you know youre dreaming.

in my dream i did it and i have 8 fingers, thought i miscounted and then it was 12 and it realized i was in a dream. and i couldnt wake up and just ran and rolled around in this brown fog until i woke up lol

it was spooky

The one I used was to hang your hand off the side of your bed, stay completely still and start counting to 100 (or something like that) and when you hit 100, only move the very tips of the fingers of the hand hanging off the bed, like you’re just gently playing a piano

Then stop, go completely still, count down from 100, and repeat the finger piano thing again, but this time try to move the fingers even less, becoming as conscious as you can on the feeling down you arm, to your hand and then fingers

Repeat this over and over, being gentler with the piano step each time, and you’ll supposedly fall into a lucid dream. I only got it to work like twice tho

Used to super often as a kid, tried to learn how to induce it manually, but I only got it to work a few times. Still happens every now and then

I was also young as s*** researching how to astral project, and I think I actually started doing it a few times, but I flipped the f*** out as soon as I got like a foot out of my body which would just immediately ruin it and I’d fall back onto the bed

Might’ve just been half asleep but it felt freakishly real

ive never heard of this, thsi sounds crazy. but the finger counting thing def worked and was also eccentric and kinda convoluted so it woudlnt surpise me if this worked too

Nah astral projection is real it’s just scary as s*** I wouldn’t dabble

I like lucid dreaming but it does feel like it happens more randomly than it used to when I was younger

My curiosity towards that kinda thing has come back to bite me more than once. That was like 10 years ago but I should probably never circle back around to it

I do have the gateway tapes downloaded on a harddrive somewhere though
