    I feel like if it was npd and people were very nice to me it would make me like them more, because like to me they would be treating me the way I obviously deserve.

    But when people are overly nice it makes me trust them less. I feel as though they are being manipulative and have bad selfish intentions that motivate their kindness

    Not like they are trying to get something out of me all the time

    But like they are interacting with me in a conscious way to enhance their own self value

    And I don't like that because it makes interactions feel less genuine like they are always playing a game to feel the best that they can about themselves
