I think we should let a group of children stab her to death

@Extraterrestrial don't like the post you wouldn't like the take
@Extraterrestrial don't like the post you wouldn't like the take
What is the take
Pretty much the opposite of your attitude about it
Why
Why
I am very consistent in my beliefs about rehabilitation/the way society should address mental health issues
I don't think the "that's bad! Don't you see how BAD that is?! Oh my God I can't believe it! Kill them!" Type of reactions are ever it
I never liked it when you'd do me like thaaat (let it all go)

It was a premediated murder, not a mental health crisis.
In the grips of psychosis, you aren’t choosing your dinner order and texting your husband about exactly which medication to get from CVS. She waited for an opportunity and took it.

I feel like someone in a mental episode could still absolutely do these things lol
Like to be clear
I'm not saying "what she did was fine because mental health" but I'm saying that the reaction to people doing bad things should not be "let's kill them because of how bad that thing they did was"
i think et killed them

Do you think the people on the Epstein list who raped kids for years should be rehabilitated?

And I have made people mad before when I express this belief fully because it does indeed apply to everyone and everything

I think that would be a more productive approach than just being like "well we should kill them" yeah
And I can fully understand the more emotional reaction to people doing terrible things, because like they are terrible and should never happen
Its not meant to be an excuse for those actions taking place or to like apply innocence to people who don't deserve it
Its just like my attitude on a more productive way to deal with bad things happening
If we kill them that feels good, and I can understand why people think they deserve that. If we figure out how/why they are doing these things and how to make them not want to we become more informed on how we can make these things happen less
But you won't really find a situation that the belief doesn't apply to for me
I think that would be a more productive approach than just being like "well we should kill them" yeah
It’s ethically idealistic. If you had unlimited resources and could 100% guarantee successful rehabilitation for someone, and know that they would no longer be a danger to society after, I would maybe agree.
But that world doesn’t exist and is not possible.
If you look at d*** treatment programs/rehab, for example, you have at BEST a 50% success rate if you’re looking at world class institutions.
It’s not good enough to put people’s lives/safety at risk by “rehabilitating” a murderer. Their lives are not worth more than the people they may kill again.

Its impossible right now, but I don't think it's something that we shouldn't work towards and continuing to engage in outrage instead of focusing on productivity doesn't get us any closer to it
