If you are keeping damning evidence of someone doing bad things and you request favors after they already know you have that evidence that can also be considered blackmail

Having a pact of silence on doing bad things and then having them know you kept evidence of them doing the bad things would be considered blackmail if you ask them for things after that

well a) possessing a video as a deterrent is absoltely blackmail.
b) he did ask them for things like access to other influential people, to expand his web. which with how big these people are is a big ask. but thats irrelevant, since its blackmail regardless
