Hearing early reports that the Spicy Orange Chicken isn’t very good and people who eat it might have thoughts of killing themselves
I was thinking about panda today actually. Have you tried the spicy orange chicken? Any feedback?
I have not. Perhaps I will indulge in some panda as well!
Had to go mini tubes on the office today
This is the only angle I could get because it’s plugged in to my phone

Nice dude i just jammed my thunb Up my butt
What does Claude think of the new spicy orange chicken at Panda Express
One second
I have not. Perhaps I will indulge in some panda as well!
It’s nice when we can enjoy a tasty meal together

He says I don’t have a view — I can’t taste anything, and I don’t have reliable information about a new spicy orange chicken item. My knowledge runs through May 2026, and fast food LTOs turn over fast enough that I’d be guessing about what’s on the menu right now.

I hope you destroy Claude with your indomitable wit after that blunder
are those leds lighting that up or magic

most tubes produce their own warm glow, but the specific tubes used in this (and many other portable tube products) barely produce visible glow, so almost all visible implementations use an LED to recreate the classic tube glow
I can live with that though. Would rather have that telling me that the device is "on" than a generic led dot on the side. Also just a very good sounding tube. Once again, the beautiful Chinese have changed the game, because this device is only like $95 -$110, whereas previous portable implementations of this tube ran $400-$550+
Only downside is the high output impedance, which can make some headphones/iems sound wonky or unbalanced. Very good pairing with my Grado SR325x though. I like the sound of these tubes so much that I've kicked around the idea of buying a used/on-sale Earmen L-Amp MKII (widely considered the best portable implementation of these tubes) so I can use it with all my stuff (since it has a normal output impedance)

This stuff did absolutely nothing for me
I’m in hell man
Didn't like it one bit
I’m hearing it’s just the normal orange chicken with red pepper flakes. We’ve lost our way

Yep. This psychopathic redact is what users like Orang and early and ET swear by. Eat drink and breathe this slop all day

??
The beautiful Chinese have spent the last decade splintering into dozens of different audio labs all undercutting each other to make the most affordable good audio products
Without them, great audio would still be reserved for rich old men paying european giants and american boutiques thousands of dollars for snake oil
Now you can get genuinely good sounding IEMs for like $30, and great sounding IEMs for like $150
Same s*** for all the various audio gear. A portable tube amp like this would've been like $1000 a decade ago and now it's 1/10th of that
It’s this thing, I guess the other word is Wellbutrin and one of my homegirls has been on it for a while but a higher dose and I started last Thursday
Oh yeah this is the wacko stuff. Adderall or nothin
This looks like it's about to detonate
The only somewhat dangerous tubes are the OTL or hybrid ones that run the plate dumb hot, meaning the tubes reach temperatures of hundreds of degrees and are prone to explode on occasion
These tubes are tiny and only get mildly warm. They'll run for 10,000+ hours with no issues, and when they do die, itll be a gentle fizzle

What if you bite it
All goods meant to be used should pass the bite test

this is really interesting damn
does using it on your phone like that really make a difference?
i always imagined you using those huge headphone jacks and stuff for it to make a difference instead of an aux
What if you bite it
Would probably crack, but not explode. Internals certainly aren't hot enough to burn you.
That being said, even though the tubes are exposed, they're so recessed that I don't think you could bite them if you tried

Probably? So you didn't test it?
If someone bites that you're screwed
