I was also a big fan of Everybody wish they could cleared that one

MBDTF and Yeezus got away with it for different reasons

Obviously theyre both just great albums

But MBDTF was going for that "90s hip hop" album sound or whatever (truth nuke: college dropout does that more authentically)

Yeezus was aggressive and industrial so any sort of harshness that would come from poor mastering can be hand waved (i do think the mix on yeezus is great though)
