Tuneoutactually i always wonder this, it goes down to literally -40 f in montreal sometimes and i STILL see homeless tents and tarps outside. they have to die soemtimes and nobody hear about it.

its frostbite in like 15 minutes or something to exposed skin.
and those are the cold snaps, but its baseline is -4 to -22f roughly. like its always those tempatures in january to february. the -40f is like 3 days during a cold snap.
but even that is enough to kill people i have no idea how they survive.
