no its not imo
it looks fugly, its just lets make a game with the best “graphics” possible with no consideration for the aesthetics, let alone being loyal to the aethestics of a game with 40 years of tradition and precedent.
nintendo has been putting out “remakes” and “remasters” of old games instead of new content for years and while i dont mind people who are too young to have bought the ogs playing them, they should not be a replacement for real games. but theyve become the dominant thing.
and the mainline games they do make are a far cry from their hey day even if some of them are “good” games. or have an insane game hidden in them thats overlooked because of extra crap
mario kart world a great example of this. mechanic wise its the best mario kart game ever made, with the highest skill cieling by far. but then they force the intermission tracks instead of giving an option to skip, so everyone plays on private discords.
im very disillusioned with the company. they lost their way like 7 or 8 years ago

having kids at 28 is insane imo
youre like throwing away another 5-10 years of prime youth for someone else.
if thats what makes someone happy and they can financially support them then go for it. but I think its crazy, the amount the average person would have to stunt their career to pull it off, I dont think is in the best interest of the child.
but everyone situation different

what would you like to see nintendo come out with?
real turn based paper mario games,
create entire new aesthetics like they used to with old games thats redefine the meta of aethestics.
stop chasing trends like open world games, its been done. you did it. Nintendo used to invent the trends, not chase them, let alone chase them after theyre worn out
3d mario games, new 3d zelda. give us HEAVY hitters for the new console
stop letting movies distract the attention, theyre outsourced anyway idk why theyre cloggin up the game production so much
STOP with the remakes. or at least stop letting them replace actual new games
make a brand new IPs, do something new
Poach devs from prominent rom hacks and indie dev companies and listen to their ideas since theyre more in touch with the community
most importantly and this goes for so many companies now a days. STOP LETTING SUITS MAKE ART DEICISIONS. LET THE ARTISTS, MAKE THE ARTIST DECISIONS
