All the militaristic propaganda and social commentary was very informative to grow up in
Was a very masculine and energetic timeit deeply shaped my views to be very anti establishment, probably wouldve been more naive and dumb than I am if it wasnt for the western world being shaken up like that
How did a plane destroy towers but hail can destroy a plane?

i never thought about this, this could be. i read i write up about it and the mythologized those passengers and it was SO much american propaganda it was like the worst written soviet union s*** i ever read.
it was unusual even for the us.
they really really use that as a propaganda piece about american strength and courage or whatever.
even if they did it like that, which is for sure brave and amazing, the way its portrayed makes my skin crawl
what evidence is there that it was shot down?

I think the main argument was the condition of the wreckage, they only got like a few pounds of human remains and it was all dental records. I guess that could prob happen in a normal crash too but their bodies literally got vaporized, they were gone

Cause it is lol. Lots of heroes minted that day. Including all the firefighters and cops that essentially gave their lives trying to save people
both things can be true at the same time
if there was a canadian disaster like that and i died in it doing something like that and people wrote about me like that I would be rolling my grave. i dont love any country like that, id be just a person doing things to help other people. espcialy if it was being used as a way to drum up support for oil war lol

in newfoundland in gander, is the first airport when crossing the atlantic ocean north. so when they closed the airspace every plane within a huge section of the Atlantic ocean had ot land here.
gander is a very small town with like one hotel. and a S***LOAD of people landed in our airport.
so everyone just let the passengers stay in their homes. they shut down the schools and work and everything for days to accommodate it
they made a play about it that was on broadway
