BruuiiseesI feel like it's weird that et describes himself as like a centrist that leans left, but then he will also dismiss the possibility of their being a left that's closer to the center and he will act like they are all bad faith liars
Which like I feel like would also make it so he doesn't exist or is also lying about which side he leans towards
i think he acknowledges there are people who are more centre and left than he is, an i think centre left is a accurate description of his views. I just think he loves to debate and vehemently disagree so much that when he gets a chance to counter a centre left point he goes full osama bin laden

NortHe spends his time usually criticizing the left and I don’t know if this is because criticizing the right is too easy and agreeable for this group or if he genuinely just has more smoke for the left. Curious.
personally i criticize the left more than the right because everybody already knows what time the right is on, making comments about it are just screaming into the void
critizing the left, in the grand scheme of themes, not like just posting about it on a forum, will actually create change. unlike the former

It’s two different things though. Democrats (as a political group) can all be majority far left. Their existence doesn’t change how left I am personally am on a particular issue.

They’re the most popular, and I think are the future of the party, but the establishment really doesn’t want to embrace those types. They probably represent 0.5% of the entire democratic party.

But if the entire left generally has ideals that you don't identify with what's even the point of saying that you are a part of that group based on outdated standards that don't apply to most of them anymore according to you

Like the idea of spending your time criticizing reasonable things that could have potential is valid
But when the other side for the most part is unionized and cliqued up you basically just get stomped while you're busy criticizing each other to death

I don’t claim to be part of any of those groups at all. I don’t personally set where the political compass points. For example, if I support gay marriage, I lean left on gay marriage. Political groups existing doesn’t change that at all.
