u know the more I work on storyboards the more i realize how modern art has reached a point where i dont think theres a way to keep abstracting and make it as impactful as the past.

We gotta go back to older genres and put original spins on them, not like push abstract art and modern art into a freakier direction. its a tired out trope atp and lazy.

BUT animation doesnt have as out there/avant garde content as even live action film, let alone fine art. anime has more of it but its still not all the way.

I predict a future with more art house, avant garde animation films for adults. it seems like low hanging fruit to me
