it's just so like lore heavy and exposition dumpy in a way I don't enjoy from a doom game especially when 2016 was so basic in its storytelling, you could sit and listen if you wanted to but nothing was forced
in the glory kills and everything, the fact that it forces you to play with certain weapons, to get the most brutal epic glory kill just glory kills the momentum for me asap
I also think having doom guy be this force of nature, ie "the demons are actually afraid of YOU!!! RIP AND TEAR 😂" hella corny NGL lmfao
I enjoy him being a normal guy who just happens to become a badass throughout the game
it's a good game though all that doesn't make the actual game that it's just not really compatible with me right now I think
