-travel card that gets you air miles
-grocery/gas card, AmEx Blue Cash Preferred is my pick here
-everyday purchase card that gets you the highest % back on all purchases
-another travel card that gets you hotel points (optional)being middle class must be suicide simulator

why different card for grocery+gas / everyday purchase
It could theoretically be the same but they have cards (like the AmEx i mentioned) that will give you like 5% on groceries, 3% on fuel, and 1% on everything else whereas you can get a card that does 2% on everything. Not a huge deal but an extra percent goes a long way if you do it right
