As you guys all know, Mac’s team worked super hard to get everything possible cleared. In most (if not all) instances it wasn’t even a money issue. The companies that own those films simply would not budge about letting them be included and I believe one or two copyright holders couldn’t even be tracked down so it wasn’t possible to include them.

There is also a couple of music samples that we had to recreate and I’m happy to say they sound incredibly similar to the original but I’m sure you guys will figure out which eventually.

As OP mentioned, this goes with the territory for releases like this and Mac was on board with it when he was here to be a part of the process (Macadelic as an example) so no need for anyone to feel upset for him or any crazy s*** like that. I am personally just happy that this project will now exist in the same places that 95% of the world get their music (including me). The OG will always exist out there for those that need the Gummo and Bukowski samples to make their life complete. At least we got the It Just Doesn’t Matter sample!! That was a huge win and Bill personally gave his blessing (so I was told). The other samples of his were out of his hands
