I’m probably a weirdo for feeling this way but I love Delusional Thomas almost more than any other Mac album

I loved his production style 2013-2014. It had this very amateurish quality to it, like it almost sounded like s*** your homie would show you he made or something, but it worked somehow so well.

I miss this guy so much. Him & Kobe are two deaths i’ll never let go. Maybe because their life’s work was a physical representation of my youth and i’m just nostalgic..

I would love it but I really doubt they ever would.

Seems like they're just doing things Mac would have reasonably done (finish Circles, remaster/rerelease beloved mixtapes for their anniversaries)

If Mac didn't have any intention of releasing Balloonerism, I don't see why they would. It would need a decent amount of work/finishing songs/mixing. And they wouldn't be able to get Jon for something like that, and it's not the same as Faces where they can see what the finished project was meant to look/sound like.

I honestly don't think its completely off the table to be released or at least some of the songs from it released in some form. Seems to have a lot of fan love that the fam clearly have noticed (having posted that the song that changed everything snippet on the 92tillinfinity IG a while back).

With that said its likely not the first thing on there mind considering theres more finished work mac would have wanted out and the fact they haven't released many of the swimming/circles era tracks yet proves there moving super carefully imo.

Yeah I agree, it would be really cool to get that 3rd album (though it seems to me like it was gonna be called Floating but that song got released so who knows)

I’m being pessimistic so whatever does drop (like that talib/madlib song today) is a pleasant suprise,

think not getting that 3rd album just shows how much care they are putting into releasing mac's music. was expecting a few tracks for that swimming in circles set they released but that's completely on me. maybe expected nothing is for the best.

also seems that in this talib track they censored a d*** innuendo from the release. Seems like the estate is set on censoring a lot of the dark aspects from future releases. they censored the suicide line from therapy part 2
