the folder the seller got it in was under 2018. thats not a reliable enough source imo especially considering the style, content, delivery and the way its written screams macadelic.

edit: oh right this is other flying lotus track he did a verse for. makes sense cas i don't think he recorded this with paak. Mac heard it afterwards or before paak did his part and did a verse if im remember correctly

Lotus had the More beat for years but didn't get around to crafting a song out of it until paak came along. If I remember correctly I think I heard Mac's verse for More is way older than Paak's vocals (like watching movies/faces time BUT i might be wrong on that). So an edit of two separate sessions to make it a remix I guess.

his 'Black Balloons Reprise' verse is much more recent like swimming era iirc. Lotus said he wanted it on the album but felt kinda selfish reaching out to the family to clear a verse

So glad we got these in somewhat good quality now but i definitely think these are getting released at some point. Both verses could’ve been on the album and made it even better tbh, they both fit the songs perfectly
