phil troutThis was intentional, according to Mach per the listening event last week. It’s an adjustment, but I’ve grown to appreciate it—gives the album a background muzak feel. That said, I’d definitely prefer to hear the vox more clearly lol.
That interview I posted in here shed more light on it too in his opinion you hear it differently every time you listen and pick up on something new depending on where you're focusing your ears
