MomYeah I understand that aspect, but it seems like YOD's social medias are basically a joint account between him and Mach or basically a fanpage lmao. Anyways, I don't mind the updates since Mach won't ever make an account himself. Obv besides the fact he's a weirdo and blocks people for 0 reason.
All the trolling, jokes, mashups, “what is Mach Hommy doing right now” is all promo man leading up to MHL. This next album could be huge for Hip Hop in general.

How do y'all feel about Mach's lyric takedown s***? I understand you can use alternate sites that haven't been DMCA'd like beelyric and what not but still a lot of the lyrics are incorrect and some are flat out not available, such as Mouchwa Sal. Would anyone be down to start a discord or something to scribe his lyrics as a small community and try to decipher them? I think it would be a cool project to figure out the bizarre and sometimes cryptic lines he has. F*** Genius lol

Yeah and I agree with that as well. I figure it's nice to respect the artist's wishes whenever possible, especially when you're a fan. I think another thing too is that Mach is extremely independent and seems to wants to be paid (fairly) for his work, so he's not fond of uploads of his music or his lyrics without any monetary gain. However that's why I mentioned we should do it on a small scale, like a discord or something more intimate so that it's not just a straight up lyric page for random casual listeners to look off of. Just thought it would be fun to delve into his catalog track by track with other fans and paint a better picture together. Also considering Mach's lyrics are clearly dense with so many layers that I don't know if it's totally feasible to interpret alone. Plus it could hold us off until the next project as it would take some time lmao.

I understand artists are weirdos like that and the thought of there being a third party involved in someone’s interaction with the art can feel uncomfortable

I started transcribing his discog a few months back but gave up when cotton found beelyrics lol. Very down for this though

Shpee· editedAugust had a pretty bad period on Twitter for a while where it was a lot of stuff like that, mostly unrelated to Mach. He eventually disappeared for a little bit and when he came back he was fine, I got the impression that he had some mental health issues and got help for it because he's not tweeted anything like that in recent memory and his Twitter feed is completely normal. I don't know the entire story, though, and I'm not going to ask because I don't think it's my business.
