I deftly wanna try to interview preservation too. Bruh new album too hard
Bruh please that man needs to be heard
brazy how woke earl continues to work w this openly homophobic rapper
still fw mach dont get it twisted
I think about this too. Roc Marciano says a LOT of anti-gay s*** on the low, but that might just be a product of where/when he grew up. I don’t really care that much but it has to be acknowledged

wait who u talking about
you know its times like this when I wish Mach used his voice:
Like yk we as people battling out here, you got some advice? some words of wisdom?
Or as simple as brother Mach I'm out here feeling defeated, I wanna hear one of my favorite niggas out heres voice on it, some opinions or some s***
I aint knocking him for what he do and Ik he don't owe us s***, I respect it but y'all feel me? or am I just missing the mark?
wait who u talking about
There’s like two songs where Mach says the word “f.ggot” (“Bell Ringer” and “Suspended Anime”, I think), and then some of the stuff with Muggs like “Wet Bally” and “Fowler’s Snare” features West Indian epithets. But given the seemingly woke company he keeps, it’s not certain whether he’s actually homophobic or just says stuff like that because he grew up in an era where more people didn’t make a conscious effort to not use that terminology.
I can’t imagine he’s really that homophobic if he’s working with people like Earl and Navy, who both seem pretty non-homophobic, and if Fahim is working with Jay Versace and Droog’s retweeting stuff like “If you don’t like Jay Versace’s beats because he’s gay, sorry to say it but you just might be gay”. But yeah, all the batty boi, puss batty “don’t let no f.ggot n.gga string you along” stuff can get a little
I also just like to assume that intelligent people are not homophobic, but who knows, it is the wild, hyper-masculine world of hip-hop 😕
Droog is so f***in stupid nobody says they don’t like his beats cuz he’s gay
I don’t think I’d be mad if Mach kept up the 9-song projects (though of course I’d love another full length at some point), because if they’re all hitting, and every song is dope, I really don’t mind

You really think there aren’t rappers out here who don’t want to work with Jay Versace because of his sexuality/flamboyant social media persona?

WSG put two openly gay artists on his biggest project so far... seems like that door is opening up in the genre.
... WESTSIDE GUNN did that

Oh, I’m not saying things aren’t improving on this front! Just saying it’s a barrier that’s still in the process of being broken.
And props to Westside for that. It’s beyond corny when dudes are obsessed with designer clothing and still don’t like gay people.
I'ma keep it hundred, I can't stand listening to Droog and Fahim rap with Mach. Not really expecting much from MHL, just like 2018 this is Mach's year off. Here's to 2021
