    Marcus is Dust

Facts. Roc Marci rarely gets the credit he deserves in the world of underground rap.

also i remember mach saying in a interview that originally he had came across westside gunn's music when he was surfing youtube or soundcloud??
and he saw the video for never coming homme by wsg
and thats when he extended an olive branch to wsg and basically gave him a feature, then i guess they exchanged features for the free

then out the blue wsg charged him for a feature one day and thats when it went down hill, then benny the bozo did his little ig rant and thats how it really went sour

so the whole statement from wsg saying "mach was my camera guy" seems like wsg is still butthurt

i guarantee that wsg' blood boiled a little when he heard rosenturd bring up mach hommy in the interview
they probably thought mach would simmer in the abyss of the underground but dr dre the boss of their boss was listening to 900k and jay z fukks with the dumpmeister too

and you can tell hov really fukks with mach because he probably thought he was styll with griselda and once he found out he wasn't he styll went out of his way to link up with him

    can't ban the dump man

Roc Marciano is the God MC. He’s worked and put so many people on. That’s how I found out about Griselda as well

aint gon lie i heard of mach thru griselda
    i think we all did

but i first heard of conway when roc marciano posted the video to khristopher on his twitter
i liked it but i didnt really search into his music

    time passed

then danny brown posted wsg live performance of eggz on twitter too saying "this my new fav rapper"

then i clicked on rex ryan because of the roc marci feature
then i realized that the guy i seen roc cosign weeks before was related to wsg
then i went down the rabbit hole

For me bro I caught on like late 2015/early 2016 right before Flygod came out, Alchemist was tweeting out all WSG’s s*** so I took a listen and was like this is aight, then I found this vid of WSG performing like 4 tracks of HWH3 live in studio for some radio show and I was like broooooo this s*** is differentttt lol. My ear was never the same.

Then I obviously listened to Flygod and hear King City with Mach and didn’t really think anything of it. But then Brand Name came out and I was like let me take a closer listen on this Mach guy. Blew my mind. Hardest s*** ever. Got super stoned one day early 2017 and listened to HBO on SoundCloud and was like bro this is the literal greatest rapper of all time what the f*** is this s***. Felt like I finally found the final level of rap. And never looked back since.

heard fahim while having earl's soundcloud on autoplay and then a few months later i heard chatter abt mach and the rest of this scene around the time srs was gonna drop. checked out FYI and was like yea this nigga like me im in. then lapriye dropped the same day n that was that.

  • I came in on Dump Gawd: Hommy Edition (was interested in hearing the Earl beats) but HBO really sold me and then I became obsessed. Favorite rapper. I think I may have heard of Griselda through Mach.

  • Dec 14, 2019

I was feigning for New Earl Sweatshirt and came across Carpe DM on youtube then spent that whole night trinna found out who this Mach Hommy guy was, found both the dollar menus on soundcloud, then heard HBO, been hooked ever since. Mach and Earl top 2

First heard Mach’s name when earl co-signed him in that interview as his favorite rapper. Couldn’t find any of his s*** at the time so dismissed him as another mysterious type. When WKJ came out I fell in love as soon as I heard the title track. The only one to blaaaame is youuuuu ever since then I’ve never “stan”ed an artist so hard.

  • Dec 14, 2019

Yea like a lot of yall im sure, mach just instantly became like my favorite rapper, i think i heard mach and westside gunn on a earl and knx radio in late 16 or early 17 and got hooked on his voice and delivery and everything really. Had hbo first and then got everything i could find lol, hes really something else

  • Dec 14, 2019

S/O to Earl and Knxwledge man. They had something special

  • Dec 14, 2019

I used to listen to rbma radio. Earl and knxwledge put me on so much dope s***

Got into Griselda through Marci's tweets too, then heard Mach on Beloved. Not gonna lie, he didn't stand out until multiple listenings of that track. Although I respect the movement and influence, I don't enjoy Griselda as much these days - love some of the production.. but for me they've stagnated lyrically, where as Mach seems to have infinite levels.

I won’t lie I didn’t really like this WWCD s*** much at all. Sounded pretty bland and uninteresting for them imo. Especially with no samples etc. That s*** came and went. Did love HWH7 though. But generally think they’re kinda plateauing now that they’ve made it.

I enjoyed it for what it was but considering it was their major label debut I was a bit let down that it didn't stand out more from their other work...I wasn't hoping they'd go completely mainstream or anything and I like that they kept their sound without compromising really but I do think at least a few more tracks with some stronger hooks and overall better features if they were gonna do features at all would have strengthened the project quite a bit...more concept driven songs too and not just a bunch of gun/drug raps which after awhile can get pretty old if you don't switch it up occasionally
