Still, nobody f***ing with Roc right now.

I put Mach over roc personally but yeah it’s close. I forget that man exists sometimes

Gibbs is better than WSG if I’m being honest with myself

For sure, I mean before Piñata dropped they sounded like an odd pairing. S***s classic. Got that on LP abroad in London

Lmao true. Because he doesn’t get into bullshit or use social media that much, from what I can tell. Him and Ka move similar. And Ka’s in this conversation too

My top 4 is constantly rotating bro like each time Mach, Ka, Roc, or Billy Woods drops a new project I’m like bro THAT dude is the best rapper alive rn.

I’m pretty firmly convinced it’s Mach at #1 for me tho.

I’m excited for Gunnlib; I really like both of the songs Madlib did for FLYGOD Is an Awesome God. I think I’m the only person who liked that one the best of his 2019 albums.

I like HWH7 but I feel it’s a little longer than it needed to be. WWCD, on the other hand, should have been longer; it’s damn-near an EP when you subtract the intro, outro and remix.

I can see that. I prefer short albums so i liked WWCD's length. Especially since they went for the same sound on the whole project

I mean, all of their projects kind of sound the same, haha. They’re like the Ramones or AC/DC or something, though, where if you happen to really enjoy that one thing they do then you’re set. I’m fine with short projects but I think I also expected WWCD to be longer since it’s their official Shady debut.

Nah cuz they switch up the beats and do more soulful or jazzy type s*** sometimes, especially WSG. All of WWCD was grimy sewer s***

Even the jazz/soul beats have become predictable in and of themselves. Like, I expect to hear a bunch of pretty, off-kilter production on a West project. But again, I don’t fault or begrudge them for it; it’s what they do and I like what they do.

Started watching The Sopranos and now the inaccuracy of the chorus of “Panel Lift-Up” bugs me, haha. Great Fahim verse, though.

Tried to start a few years ago but I restarted and just finished the first season. Wasn’t into mob stuff when I was a kid and the show was actually on the air but I don’t think I would have appreciated all of the psychological stuff with Tony back then anyway. Really enjoying it but the general consensus seems to be that it doesn’t end as well as it starts (although I don’t think the finale is quite as reviled as it used to be). Cannot wait for the “Food Pyramid” sample.
