At first I thought he was just a pretty good rapper, but something kept making me go back to his music and soon after he was like the only artist I listened to extensively for the better part of a year cause i was so impressed

its the reason why I dont really enjoy hbo. its like hes going for this same street sound that everybody else does, while at the same time I know he can do something more interesting if he experiments more, which he does on his subsequent albums. if there was one good thing from him disassociating from Griselda its definitely that he started making music the way he really wants to; its the same as listening to Droog on Packs and Droog on his '19 albums

This has also happened before so I’m not surprised, but like you said, more of a typical rap album with less experimentation... but in the past, getting acquainted with an album like that has bridged the gap for me making it easier to access and fall in love with their more experimental projects if that makes sense

They’re harder to come by but definitely try Dumpmeister and Dump Gawd: Hommy Edition before you give up completely. I also want to say The GAT and Bulletproof Luh, too, but that’s practically the whole damn discography, haha
