Yeah I sometimes struggle with more monotone rappers on drum less type beats until I’ve fully digested them after a few listens, same with Mike, navy blue etc.

Doesn't mean I would sub out an album or two with his other works depending on my mood. For instance, MHL, WKJ, DG:HE, or FYI could be subbed in. But 1 and 2 are cemented for me.

To add to the MHL discussion, that album to me is very dope me. But what did do was add a few of the loose Mach songs: Lapriye, Floor Seats, the songs he has on the Preservation album, and Really Weak, and put there where I feel they mix in well. Since this adds to more Nicholas Craven and DJ Preservation and fleshes out the tone of the album

It's the same way did the DJ Muggs projects.
