@op @rickyb its out now this is good man there has been really good underground rap albums that dropped today
gonna wait it out, glad it's sounding nice though
Looking forward to this. Have played 'The Poverty Bothers Me' a bunch since it dropped. Quality Mach verse on that one.
Not feeling the new tape... Fahim did the best
Thoughts on the other hommy verse

I thought it was cool, might not be for everyone.
What the hell is going on with Dump Gawd and these weak releases the past 12+ months?

I don't see myself revisiting this except for Gupta

Can I get some help with a Smoked Maldon lyric?
...we rolling up on the jump,
I hug the track like Prefontaine
OR
I heart attack like Prefontaine
I always thought it was heartattack which didn't make much sense for me in the context of the song but did as a reference bc Prefontaine was a legendary runner (the first I'm p sure athlete Nike sponsored) who died super young of a heart attack. I hug the track makes more sense as a lyric and I guess makes sense if you think of runners honouring the track they run but I did some googling and didn't find anything about Pre hugging tracks or anything 🤣 thoughts?

I always thought it was “hug the track”.
I dig it
Smooth production, good rapping, motivational vibes, haha. It’s not my favorite album I’ve ever heard in my entire life but I like it as much as the other albums I’ve heard so far in 2021. I guess I can see how someone could find the production a little boring, though.

Yeah i like it. Can’t see myself spinning it more than a handful of times though
definitely a little boring but otherwise it's a solid album...chill production and vibes throughout

I feel you on the motivational/good vibes, but idk—it was generally kinda forgettable to me. They don’t really make sense to me as a duo honestly
And I guess I prefer both of them over different production. Droog needs to have really good production for me to even enjoy his rapping, and Fahim over smooth beats bores me most of the time. His rapping didn’t really move me here

I agree they’re don’t quite have the spark as a duo that Fahim and Mach have but I don’t mind them together. The fact that Droog always goes second kinda makes it feel like he was added onto these tracks after the fact, though.
