I've been taking a break from listening to it so when my vinyl gets in it sounds fresh again I agree though definitely in my personal top 3 of this year

If we talking bout the GAT. My fav track gotta be IV. Gives me the same feeling that prime lil wayne gave me when i was a kid (not saying mach is rapping like wayne or vice versa just that level of excellence) Been replaying ever since first listen

last verse is some of the smoothest flows ive ever heard on some andre 3000 on crack or something.

Well, as you may know the situation is terrible in Martinique and Guadeloupe so I don't have any news from my elder ^^. I tried to translate what i could but this is definitly too far from Martinican Créole plus he mixes kréyol with english sometimes. And of course this is not only a translation this is an interpretation wich is very hard with Mach... So i will copy paste the first comment on Kaytranada's channel for $payforhaiti video.

Ps : I definetly agree with the part "I have never heard a verse this complex, delivered so effortlessly, in my life. In Kreyol"

I don’t have the capability of explaining the message he is trying to convey, it’s levels to this and I will not pretend that I comprehend everything he said. I’ll add one last thing. At some point he mentions Malcom X’s wife, but I can’t decipher what he says right before. So I was researching his wife to get some history on her and at the same exact time I get a random text message telling me that Malcom X’s daughter (Malikah Shabazz) was found dead today. I don’t even know what to make of that coincidence… May she rest peacefully."

Force avec vous to my Martinique/Guadeloupe brother. I posted that comment on the $payforhaiti youtube video. It was alot of work. I'm Haitian (from Montreal) and speak Kreyol, the issue is the speed that he's delivering the bars is crazy. He snapped on that verse

Thanks. It's Mach so most bars go over my head (not just the Kreyol ones). That $payfor haiti has been on repeat since I heard it. If there's anything you guys need let me know. I'm glad to help out wherever I can.

Side note: At the end of the song Mach is singing Haitian insults.
