the current crop of guys at the top are just very inactive, and i think that lack of momentum leads to the overall product feeling lackluster. alex was very active in 24 and merab last year but you need more than one guy a year
the pessimistic view would be that the ufc/tko force that inactivity because it means less spent on fight purses and more money for them. i suppose the optimistic view would be sometimes you’re just dealt a bad hand and things will improve in the future
