GangstaliciousI watched him too. He had a ton of wins in organizations known for rigging fights. He went to strike force and looked much more human. Just off film i don’t think he has the same skills Islam does. The game evolves and Islam is beating better guys.
Affliction wasn’t rigging fights and Fedor wrecked the most recent UFC champs there. He looked human after 40 fights at 34 that’s normal. All the Pride fighters complained about the cage compared to the ring

you're right islam is probably more skilled and well rounded at this point but fedor had better boxing, aura, and gnp
He had better GnP cause heavyweights suck at grappling lmao. Islam is doing this vs higher level guys who have better gameplans and coaches to defend very specific positions and systems they use. Fedor fought when you could do basic body lock passing and terrorize guys. Boxing absolutely he was better but Islam is better at getting to the takedowns. Significantly better in the clinch, better off the wall, better kicking, better at adjustments mid fight, better ground control, better submissions. He’s an overall better grappler. Fedor is an all time great and he’d be an elite heavyweight today but 17 straight wins in 2 extremely competitive division is nuts. Islams fighting much more well rounded guys. His resume is significantly better
