Cuhase is sick but the price tag
Heist hypes up cubase a lot
Cubase definitely isn't cheap but it's abilities justify the price, I think I've gone through 4 upgrades so I've spent almost $1k on Cubase over the years at the point lol
can anyone help me get a crack for waves plugins? I dont really know how to pirate no more lmaooo
do any of you guys make money from beats? and is there any great way to get your beats out there?
Just put together a lil mini beat tape. Would love a lil feedback.

also im not too knowledgable of mixing and stuff so it might not sound the best quality
Can someone recommend me some good synth plugins, omnishere sounds kinda ametuerish to me
I need some high quality sounds like all these other big name producers

it doesn't matter which softsynth or sample you are using. What does matter is post processing/leveling and mixing in context. A lot of times I just bounce out a sound, then resample it with a sampler so I can easily control the start position/loop/etc.
Grab some reference tracks of songs you like, a***yze them in your DAW with Voxego SPAN. Where are the leads sitting? Where is the pad? Drums? You will notice trends in mixing levels. That being said, a lot of it is style dependent. A song by Rakim won't be mixed too similarly to a recent Gucci Mane song.

I tried processing/mixing the synths a lot but it always falls flat, never thought about resampling it though. Any other tips i can use other than the obvious (EQ's, compression, etc)

keep practicing. Automation is super helpful as well, you can use filter automation to create entirely different vibes from random sounds.
Don't compress unless you understand why you want to compress the sound. I tend to use saturation/distortion more than compression.
Utilize sends as well.
Have a couple different reverb sends to send stuff to instead of dropping them on a track
Parallel distortion is helpful as well

Reverb sends gets really f***ing messy, takes me hours to properly mix that s***. I just avoid it as a whole unless its SUPER minimal

They can get messy, I agree. Have an EQ cutting below 200hz are so after the reverb, shape that EQ.
Less is more when it comes to reverb imo. Have multiple sends. One short, one medium, one long, one super long. Calculate the bpm you are working with, there are calculators online for this. One send for a 1/2 note, one for 2 bars, one for 8 bars, one as an "infinite" reverb. Automating reverb sends can be used creatively as well.
Inside of the reverb sends you can automate the EQ in there too to create filter movement. Automating a pitchshift in the reverb send can be cool too, you can go up an octave at the last few bars of a section and it'll create tension.
