New single off my album I'm dropping this Sunday. Lmk what y'all think
It’s sound really good from a mixing/mastering standpoint. The sounds instrumentation is a little repetitive. Idk how it’ll do as a single.

Thanks bro and I guess w it being repetitive I’m used to Doing alchemist/madlib type beats and w those being like 8 bars max.
The drums are nice. The instrumentation is a little generic. Overall I think you did a good job of replicating the sound you were going for.
Thanks ma man
I see what you're talking about and I just got a new kit full of vocal effects and FX I can use to upgrade my beats.
I did a great job today and I'm trying to sell it to a "known" french rapper, if it doesn't work out I'll publish it on youtube and so you will have a hint on how I improved in 2 days
Thanks mate

Really nice, I appreciate those vocals, how you did that?
Looks like Kenny could jump on this beat and kill it
Sorry for triple posting but any of you got any advice for taggin my songs? I used my voice to say " Emelka " but it sounds amateur
am i the only guy who doesn't want a tag???, i want people to recognize me for my sound, like "oh s*** those are mason marjella drums!!!!"
and i don't want to be a youtube or type beat producer, no offense to those guys more power to em
First beat Ive made in a long time

This is dope, love the 80s sound. I don't have headphones on but the mix sounds really clean
Yah but how are you suppose to get recognized with no tag? I mean, once you've produced for a rapper, it may not get you recognized without a proper tag. I mean, Metro, Zytroven, London and probably all the french beatmakers have a tag.
No issue for the type beat thing, it's only to get an audience and critics for some beats I did, it's not going to be my main tool

Is it pre mixed? The drums are not as strong as they should be, and the melody isn't too repetitive?
I appreciate the adlibs tho

Thank you fam and I just chopped up one layer for the instrumentation, made another layer and chopped the vocals. Started piecing it together. Good looks on the Kenny mention too, I get mad inspired by a lot of TDE’s sound.

Ayy thank you for the feedback. I just checked your beat out, I liked it the only thing I’d change is dababy rapping in the background, I think the beat would stand out more without that. Good stuff
Ayooo boys, I just started publishing some of my contents
I'm a producer from Paris and I did some collaborations with locals, I'm mainly on youtube, is it interresting to also go for soundcloud?
I'll accept any critics as much as it helps me
Check this out
This is dope, I like how the beat built up. I also like how you used the cymbals on the song it gives It a good groove. Overall good stuff

Im gonna keep that in mind next time good looks. The string section on the beat you posted is nice reminds me of something gunna would rap on.

yeah my boys tell me that a tag would be good to have in this age of production but idk man, maybe i can do something similar to how pharrell got that 4 count
Dropped a new single today would love you guys’ honest feedback on it especially on the production side cause I’m still pretty new to producing

Thanks man I appreciate that
These I posted until now are "mid" beats compared to other stuff I have but I'm keeping them for real artists :word:

Yeah it sounds like Gunna a lot, just because the man rapped strings all 2019
Which software do you use for your beats btw? I can help you out if you're on FL

Maybe the sound of an animal
An elephant, a crow or a tiger you got it? In France we have 2/3 known producers using these kind of tags, dk about usa

Are you the beat producer? Maybe the song is taking too long to start, I mean there is no drop.
The bass may start too soon too.
I appreciate the snares and hihats, Drill inspiration?
The adlibs are well done and correspond to the mood of the song, I would have added few more kicks. The piano all alone may be too simple and make the song too repetitive.
Also, the frequency cut you did on the vocals, it may be interresting cut them on specific moments of the song such as before a drop. It looks like you rap through a phone call it's not easy to listen to.
I don't use headphones rn but it seems well mixed
Cheers

Yoo thanks for all of this it really helps.
I produced the beat and yeah lol I was going for a drill mixed with yeezus type inspiration. Yeah I was trying to mix the vocals right but I kept having trouble with that any tips for recording/mixing vocals?
