beat sounds like krit had a hand in making it. fire
I've been working on songwriting recently. I am great with creating chord progressions, percussion, making melodies, background harmonies and the whole musical aspect. So I'd be good with the production aspect.
My issue is lyrics. I struggle to create lyrics that tell a story and make sense. I can create hooks and simple lyrics for throughout the song and then sometimes I'll write a good verse, then can't write a chorus if my life depended on it. Anyone got any advice?

i sold my first beat today and it was a f***in nightmare
paypal wanted me to vertify my account or some s*** so i couldnt accept the funds i had to send the stems out which took forever to upload to gmail
Had this issue, and I received funds without ever verifying it, weird but neat
Can someone help me w installing Keyscape? I've installed it numerous times and it keeps telling me my soundsources are missing even though they're where they're meant to be lol
I can help you on this, but I can tell you from experience, you have Better substitutes that don't overload the s*** outta your computer
I uninstalled rather quickly
Anyone have advice on creating melodies for a beginner
Download a bunch of midi tracks, switch the notes around until you reach conclusions. Works for me, I now play my own melodies based on studying tracks I had from major producers

Ended up sorting it out but thanks for offering a helping hand. I really appreciate it

Made this yesterday it's pretty simple but I like the gross beat effect I put on it
Anyone know a free simple to use program that I can slow and reverb songs in? Really basic like? Thanks

start with hook/chorus first & whatever what it ends up to be, then build the verses around them even if its loosely tied.
think of the hook/chorus as your opener paragraph in writing a paper. its where the rest follows.
that way you also have structure for yourself so you don't feel as lost or random as you did before.
some of my more "artsy/unique" beats of mine. i do sound design & i sell some beats online + irl, while i do co prod at a local studio here and there. 95% of my beats are all original instrumentation, no samples or pre-made loops:
working on a new beat kit that i plan to release for free with original drums/perc & instruments sounds/loops too
