I’m trying to get all my samples to stay in one key and not overlap when I press twice in FL idk what I’m doing wrong , the first one I load in the channel always works but the rest go to different keys instead of locking to one and overlap each other, anyone know what I’m talking about?
This thread dead so I’ll @ the one nigga I know is active recently lol @polaroid

also idk if fl studio has it, but make sure your chops choke each other. like so when u press one sample and hit another one, then it stops the signal from the other. and the release timing will determine how long the sample will play once u let go. idk how to do it in fl studio cause I use ableton. s

I bought a akai mini and new laptop that powerful af last night. Decided to turn up afterwards since my boy hit me up. This s*** includes mpc beats software or should I just jump to ableton?

I’ve never touched anything other than FL or Mixcraft and I think FL is the god for anyone who is self learning unless you really wanna step to that next level, especially if you got a new laptop

Sticking with piano roll
got this s*** working just gotta figure out quantizing

You wouldn’t mind recording that? I never seen anyone chop samples in the piano roll. That sounds hard. The only good thing I can think is probably how you can play with velocity.
