On it right now 😳 making moves
You're in LA so you're already 100 steps ahead of everyone else who wants to be in a creative field.
Wanna share any advice?
Not nearly finished yet but any ideas?

Bro where do you find these vocal chops? Old radio?
Your style is so dope, really reminds me of Peggy. You could be his producer if he didn't make everything himself lmao
I would add a synth in there somewhere. Something that cuts in and out
What are the prizes? 🤔
So first prize is it becomes the official remix, you get money for promotion and you get a beer box for some reason
Second prize is 100 dollars gift card for a music shop
Third prize is like 75 dollar gift card

Be the hardest working person in the room or at least try to be. Also put yourself around people who are doing better than you are you never want to be the best in the room you’ll never learn anything that way.
Constantly be around people in creative fields you’ll meet everyone and you’ll end up like one or two people away from pretty much any person in music even Kanye.
Don’t shove your music down everyone’s throat but also no need to hide what you do. The best thing is to build friendships and from that will come business not much of the other way around. Be a real person to people and just be genuine and yourself especially in LA because that’s what a lot of people are missing and looking for and it will never go unappreciated and respected.
Sometimes its hard but start up conversation people regularly as you can and make it a practice and also have friends who do the same and you’ll start to do it too.
Listen to what people have to say and don’t always think you always know best and what’s right and wrong. But also don’t forget to always bet on yourself first. Doesn’t matter who it’s from or even how old they are we always will be learning until the day we die and we do not know everything and we do not always know best and the people who think that they always do see the ones who do not get to make it to the destination they set for themselves. Ofc you shouldn’t listen to what EVERYONE says but being a good listener is important and knowing you’ll always be a student of life in every aspect of it.
Also have close friends who do the same thing as you and motivate you do to better.
Reach out to people no matter who they are sometimes you’ll be surprised who will find you an answer. Don’t be afraid to ask for anything also the worst answer you could get is no but then there would be someone who will also say yes even though the last person said no.
Last and not least just try your best to be happy while you’re out here. Tbh didn’t matter where you are just try your best to be happy wherever you are in the world and wherever you are life. Take care of your mental health also because nothing can get done unless that’s taken care of first and it really will take you down. Be around people who you know love you who care about you like family.
Ok this the last one I lied. Remember that anything is possible and you’re the one who determines what you can or cannot do. You’ll never achieve anything that you told yourself you couldn’t do. You’re no different than anyone who’s done anything before. You watch their stories afterwards but you create your story as you go and can later share it with the world. Anything and everything is and can be at your grasp if you reach for it.
Anyone here have a plan to break into the industry besides just making music as a hobby?

i've gotten some pretty good placements with some big artists and some somewhat big/rising artists but i haven't had like any MAJOR breaks yet.
i have a lot of ties to memphis and chattanooga which are kind of creative hubs down here which helps. a lot of it stemmed from doing other work like posters, flyers, cover art, etc. so if ur talented at any of that i think its more important than the beats themselves sometimes just bc people need designers more than they need beats. and it can help lead into the beat conversations lmao.
@FLIZZY taking it all, boy got hit maker abilities
I’ll humble myself and say, half the time idk what I’m doing

Archive.com 😳 found a whole album of tracks of just vocal cuts and cut up everything i liked yesterday it was a s*** ton. Sometimes if i want something i don’t have tho I’ll just use the built in text to speech on my mac and have the siri voice say it and then I’ll record it with this program called (fuck i just forgot the name of it but i will grab it when i get to my laptop)
And thank you
i love peggys production. Also I’m very inspired by Jai Paul and Vegyn too ( Only Diamonds Cut Diamonds out now 💎)
And yeah i had a synth playing chords throughout a lot of the middle of the track but it wasn’t sounding right so i turned it off before i exported but I’m gonna go back in today and work on it some more but that’s why there’s an empty part in there. It was hard trying to figure out what fit right but I’mma dedicate today to sound design for it.
