I only do a hats bus while writing dnb

I regularly have like 8 different hats bitcrusher em together and put a slight bit of reverb on it output hats bus to drums bus.

Just use any sample delay plugin and play with the value on one side under 30ms. Check your mix in mono because sometimes it sounds like s*** and you have to play around a bit.

I do it with the serumFX delay sometimes on channels because it has a dry/wet
