still don’t know how to stop these 808s from rattling the f*** out of certain speakers

Do you have the foam pads? I’m guessing it’s just rattling the table or whatever they’re sitting on

I just need some good speaker stands I got two Yamaha HS5s and I got foam pads but there is too much bass response going into the desk

might’ve phrased it wrong but it’s usually in the car. like I’ll play one of my beats in the car and the speakers rattle like crazy, then I’ll play all the professionally mixed mastered songs and they don’t make them shake/rattle at all? I’ve experimented w my 808s a lot and the closest thing I’ve gotten to sounding clean was making a 30hz cut in the eq. and even that only works with certain 808s that only have a few frequencies below that, because they sit a little higher on the spectrum. that doesn’t work with 808s that sit very low on the spectrum. idk if I explained that right but yeah.

Ohhhh i see. Use those other mixes as references to see if theres things you can change with your mixes. You can use span as a frequency a***yzer and theres a plugin called reference by in the mix that helps you reference your mix to other mixes
