All good thank you .. def would love that when you got it 🤝
Not gonna lie, it sounds like imma have to keep messaging this dude. But trust that I will.
I inevitably will offer fair prices for someone to sell.
Yall dont want these artists to progress at all man underground rapper fanbases are so goof
How is playing it safe progression?
I need to listen to it again back to back with Beware of the Monkey!, I know I liked this one better than Maxo’s album but might have preferred MIKE’s to this. All three lend well to comparison, like don’t they all have late-in-the-tracklist voicemails?
MIKE >>>> Navy >> Maxo
For me
How is playing it safe progression?
how did navy play it safe on this album

Has he written any super personal content with this level of vulnerability before? I've never had a Navy Blue album make me this sad
Man if someone could give me a zip of the good book vol 2 that would really be appreciated, my favorite budgie joint

Navy has talked about his relationships with his Mom, father, grandmother, his girl (ex), and his homie that passed away which were some of the reason why he was in deep depression. These were reoccuring themes in his projects on SoundCloud

The production and lyrics are very safe and nothing out of the norm for Sage these past 4 (possibly 7) projects. I'm not looking for crazy punchlines or some wild rock/electronic/jazz production. But something at least memorable.

Not to be callous. But where did you want this nigga to go?
And I can argue this the most hopeful he’s ever sounded on a navy blue project. He’s covering the same topics but he’s approaching from a place of hope and not over-engulfing sorrow like the last few projects

Mention this before but you can still make really good happy / recovering music i.e. MIKE, Ka, Quelle Chris.
Man I’ll be upfront, I’m not a fan of Budgie
