I actually don't think it's that bad. They have good chemistry although the topics aren't always that interesting

now he's an actual billionaire because he loves investing in startups like uber

he gives near-infinite actual advice that is actionable with some of the top entrepreneurial/business minds today

he has over 1,000 episodes that are all hours long

we are reaching a point where there is too much content and the solution for these e-celebs is to create hour+ content because the ad rates are so high, it's all short sighted and will crash once there is no brand loyalty to podcasts

i find dave to be a grifter and there's nothing wrong with that. he's only doing this podcast because it can open him up to a new audience. therefore i don't think there's much genuine content in this for me at all

why am i going to be loyal to an obvious money/attention play and sit through 30-60 minutes of filler content to get 1 cool story or 1 nice tidbit
