When you get a job, thereās this called work description which contains everything your job expects from you and they pay you for, so in this case, it includes kyries services which are not limited to playing basketball but also include media access, charity, image rights for games, pictures, media day and highlights. The league didnāt sign or own KD podcast or media company so they canāt use KDās product, they can only use the product which they pay for or partners which are the ppl kyrie arenāt tlking to. Does this make sense now or ?

Bruh the NBA is still a job and got operates like every other jobs too, there are actions and consequences. Kyrie is expected to talk to the media and thatās why heās getting fined 25k. Nobody is bigger than their job if they donāt own it, but maybe more valuable than other workers.
