eagles fans itt what should i expect from wentz this season i am scared
Lots of "fuck it" throws, f***ing up the occasional screen pass/checkdown, etc

how you feeling about his fit in indy? i feel like rivers had the same issue during his time with the chargers and suddenly that went away last season because reich was so good at scheming guys open. just worried because wentz is at his best (and worst) off script

Wentz at his best was with reich tho

Frank might be able to reel him in a bit because you're right in your assessment that he's far better off script than he is operating in structure. The best we've seen from him there is obviously the 2017 season and then to a lesser extent the 2018 season but he was limited coming off injury there so he didn't really have a choice. He has to be coached hard or else he goes into "fuck it" mode fast and doesn't come out of it

agreed but that was such a bizarre QB season. saw a write up on that 2017 season and it turns out most of wentz's production came on third down which isn't really ideal for a stable offense.
with that said this team is built a lot like the 2017 eagles (top RB corps, elite o-line, solid receiving weapons) so idek. waiting to see how he is has been terrifying
I'd move Amari below Evans and Robinson, and don't think the gap between Hopkins and Julio should be that wide, but otherwise solid list

i honestly believe in reich's coaching a lot and think that could bring him back up to speed. worried because y'all poached sirriani (who is f***ing GREAT btw don't let philly media fool you) so now we have a new OC. shouldn't matter much since reich is so great at calling the offense but change like that usually isn't great in the nfl.
i'm just hoping we run a lot of quick game and RPO stuff so he just has to make easy plays. i feel like that's where he's excelled the most outside of offscript miracle plays

Yeah I genuinely feel good about Sirianni, people wanted to make a big deal out of that first presser where he was clearly nervous but I didn't give a s*** lol. Listened to the stuff since and I'm liking the foundational stuff that he wants to build a team off of.
And yeah it's weird because Carson DOES excel at that stuff but he just didn't want to run it much in the 2018/2019 seasons which we didn't get an explanation for. Think he respects Frank more than he did Doug though so that's a positive for y'all.
This Watson s*** getting annoying
Read the Miami Herald piece, sounding like y'all doing due diligence but no one knows how aggressively y'all will pursue. At this point this s*** is bound to happen anyway, just get it over with so we can all move on (hopefully with resolution on the legal stuff either preceding or shortly after).

Yeah Wolfe said months ago that were interested but not all that interested since they still do believe in Tua (which is why I’m having a hard time believing anything today)
But if Allbright is right then yeah it’s a wrap lmao
I just saw Allbright mentioned that we’re the only team Watson would waive his NTC for too
so what? they're offering snacks?

Ctfu nah. Either taking years off the backend of his deal or agreeing to deal him after the season
