Shanny's newish (well hired back recently but he's been with him for awhile) QB coach Rich Scangarello teaches his QB's to take snaps from shotgun with their left foot forward if they're right-handed to reduce the amount of steps from snap to release. He did this with Drew Lock when he was in Denver for Lock's rookie season.
