Metroid team might not feel the same sadly

On thing I’ve noticed is people can’t let other people be happy. If someone genuinely enjoys Legends ZA there is no reason to sh!t on their opinion for no reason. Let people enjoy what they enjoy.

I’m loving this game. I’ve been like 30+ hours in and not even close to done with the game. There is so much to do! The environments could be better and the game could use voice acting but the rest of the game is fantastic in my opinion.

With that being said Mega Feraligtr is so ugly that I kicked my starter off my team for the first time ever. I also kicked off Excadrill because it’s mega was a disaster.

But the Megas for Drampa, Malamar, Elektross, Hawlucha, and Chandellure are all incredible.

There’s still a ton of megas I have set to see and I’ve been avoiding spoilers outside of pre-released trailers so everything coming as a real time reaction is fun.

Hearing Rogue Trader gonna get a release on Switch 2, honestly might make me cop a Switch this Xmas

One time a Walmart employee gave me a PS4 copy of Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon for free cus it wouldn’t scan at the register

I skipped it at launch because of the Starfield hype

Bananza didnt get anything until we were a month out so i wouldnt worry yet. And Kirby is a sakurai game, he operates differently and isnt really stopped by Nintendo from doing basically anything he wants.
I also think a Metroid direct wouldnt change anyone's opinion, you probably know by now whether you want it or not, only reviews and word of mouth atp could increase interest

Also, unlike air riders, Metroid is a game about exploration and discovery, a direct spoiling everything would be wack I hope they don’t do it but I suspect it’s likely

Alright guys... I need help with something in regards to the Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2.

So it's not region locked right? But... I guess the updates are as in I need to make a US account for example if I get a digital or physical game from the US?

You can (generally) play physical games from the US on your EU console and vice versa. If you're trying to get a digital game which is tied to the US eShop then you will need a Nintendo Account from the US or change your existing account region from EU to US.

I selfishly want no more marketing until it comes out. I want to be surprised by everything they're hiding. But if push comes to shove they'll probably do a Metroid dread and drop a hype trailer spoiling a lot of dope s*** (that i thankfully didnt watch) to make the game look more enticing

I have some games from other regions and i never noticed any problems updating so i guess you should be good. I think you only need to buy dlc from the same region as the base game, but that's also easily done by changing your Nintendo account settings.

Gotcha so I can basically use any physical/digital Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 game but if I want to get a DLC/upgrade to a Deluxe Edition of a game for example so will I've to change some settings and maybe change stuff like the region, address etc. and I am good to go?

You got the gist of if yes, you go to your Nintendo account on your browser and edit the profile to change your country (beware of japanese eshop because they don't let you use non japanese credit cards/paypal ive heard, so you'd have to buy japanese eshop cards).

I never cared for the joycon wheels honestly, they're pretty useless and imo look worse than the Wii wheels that came with mario kart wii, so id say only get them if you really like them.

About games, you wont get steep discounts from Nintendo 1st party games, 20€/$ off at best. Idk where you live, but id say look at the used market, you'll find physicals at 50% off retail price. Id suggest making a dekudeals account, its a sales tracker for games.
You got a good list, id remove 3d all stars because not only its discontinued and goes for crazy prices, but its now useless. Mario 64 Is on NSO, galaxy is now on another collection and sunshine will soon be added to NSO.
Look at OP for other suggestions, id need to know your tastes to give you more.

Regarding 3D-All Stars; the Switch emulators are offensive to the eyes with that UI.

I'd rather own all three games and not have to pay for a subscription to play. Plus no ugly grey bars on the side.

The caveat is that it is discontinued but I took a quick look at the used game market, and for sure there is a markup, but the prices aren't so bad. I even saw someone selling it for the price I essentially paid for the game with tax.

I'm sure @YeezyDude could find a cheapish copy.

Tbh the UI was never that much of an issue to me lol, but i know it annoyed some people so i guess @YeezyDude could try playing on nso first to see if they gel with it.
To me mario 3d all stars tho still wouldnt be worth that much. Mario 64 is the type of game that you'll be always able to play even in the event of an apocalypse, whether legally or illegally, Galaxy has a much better version with the new collection. So basically that leaves sunshine, and paying 70/80€ for sunshine seems more of a ripoff than anything Nintendo ever did lmao.

Plus, NSO has a switch 2 update with new additions like remappable buttons and 4k support so i think thats also worth mentioning.

60fps, 1080p in portable mode and mouse controls would’ve been wonderful
