Man it’s such a bummer that Bayo3 and MP4 both took so long to release and ultimately did not deliver as much as we had hoped.

Anyone else having trouble connecting their Switch 2 to the internet? My Switch 1 connects just fine.

I’ve got Spectrum and my security is set as WPA3. Apparently Spectrum has been forcing all their networks as WPA3 recently and that’s likely the issue.

But I think it’s weird that I don’t see more discourse for that on the internet rn? Like if this is a recent thing Spectrum is doing and the Switch 2 won’t connect to it, why isnt everyone having this issue?

Any suggestions?

UPDATE - 6/7

I have found a fix/workaround using the settings below on my router.

As /u/Equivalent-Walk-4547
pointed out, wireless mode on 5ghz band has to be AX mode only. I previously had mine set to N/AC/AX. I also disabled DFS channels from being used when setting channel selection to AUTO. I’ve see others mention setting 5ghz to a specific channel like 36 as well as setting channel bandwidth to 80Mhz but I didn’t do that. My channel selection is still set to AUTO and channel bandwidth is 20/40/80/160 MHz.

Going to japan as a nintendo fan is madness because the amount of good deals will make you buy tons of things. Got myself 3 amiibo, both the gamecube and n64 nso controllers, Kirby air riders (35€ was a STEAL for me) and a couple more games, the samus arm cannon plushie and a 512gb microsd for the switch 2. Cant wait to try the nso controllers soon
