They are definitely clearing space for new announcements in the next direct. If things like mario wonder and tomodachi life get dedicated directs, that means they'll only briefly show up in the big one

Mario Wonder not even running at 120fps on NS2 is kinda disappointing given that it’s a Switch 1 side-scroller, MP4 can output 120fps and the performance upgrade is locked behind the $20 multiplayer DLC.

We can only hope that the next 2D Mario made specifically for NS2 will have a 120fps mode

Square might very well try its hardest to bring ff16 here, game needs all the sales it can get and going by ff7 remake performance i think there is the right audience for it potentially

Tbf the Mario model in that clip looked different from Wonder’s

It does give me hope that they won’t do a Mario Wonder sequel for the next 2D Mario (as much as I enjoyed the game) and they’ll use this newer model instead.
