I think they should make you choose if you want animal crossing dlc or not and save 5/10$, cause people who want n64 and sega games but dont own/want animal crossing are not gonna pay for something they dont want or can even access

What I’m hoping is Nintendo starts adding more DLC to the 50$ online, maybe if all their DLC from here on out is included on that service rather than one time payments of 20+ dollars it might be worth it

I absolutely think they're gonna do that, not with every dlc, but with some of them. I also think gba will be in that expansion pass. But the problems this brings is 1) as of now you're paying 50$ for n64, sega and dlc of a game you might not have, so while those would make the price justified, those additions are not there still so its understandable they'd side eye this proposition now and 2) this service has to carry over to the next switch if it is BC (it will be) because if not people would have to buy dlcs again as you're technically not owning them.

So basically i can see why people wouldnt want to pay all that now, makes sense. Here in italy its gonna be 40€ which is "only" double of what im paying now and im getting n64 with online play, sega and a dlc im interested in so to me its a good deal

I mean its fine to have problems with a company but still support them if those arent big deals. I have my problems with online, joycon drift and mario 3d all stars, but the good heavily outweigh the bad so i still play nintendo. There are some, either here or on twitter and reddit, that really hate every decision they make and dislike most of their games but still have a switch, pay online and buy games for it. That's what confuses me, if you dont like nintendo's decisions this much you shouldnt support them at all. There are a lot of other propositons like playstation, xbox, steam if you dont like nintendo that may have what you're looking for, especially in this era where all of them are succeeding and better than ever
