I would argue art direction and graphics are two different things.

You could have the art direction of something like Journey but the graphics of Super Mario 64 and it would still be amazing

Poor performance on the other hand is way more intrusive to gameplay and deserves to be called out. I can deal with low frame rate as long as it’s like a consistent 30 fps but constant frame drops and especially input lag should be unacceptable

Personally I love persona but the gameplay loop in SMT is fun comparing to persona and it’s always 60% gameplay and 40% story while persona you get hammered down by nonstop dialogue and a lot of the time it’s just unnecessary dialogue

i SIMPLY said that some past titles and certain future releases like Pokemon Legends, Kirby ATFL and Zelda BOTW2 are not worth playing at 30fps with frame dips and a constant under 1080p resolution

just so yall know RESOLUTION is not graphics, go play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or DE on any TV around 50" and the level of low quality visuals is nearly unbearable for this era, same goes for BOTW tbh, not crisp on a TV
