It kinda annoys me when people disregard metroid 5 cause there was no metroid prime 4 footage. You can feel whatever you want about those games but metroid 5 is a bigger deal than metroid prime 4 was, especially cause metroid 4 was almost 20 years ago

I’m really wondering what’s coming for the holiday season. It can’t be BOTW2, MP4, or Splatoon 3. It has to be something we haven’t heard about yet.

I think september direct is gonna be focused on 2022 games, so splatoon 3, the pokemon games, project triangle strategy and some new announcements. BOTW2 being in it will depend on whether it comes out first half or second half of 2022

They got 2nd half of 2021 covered imo, they dont need anything else

They usually have a big release for November/December. I don’t think they’ve announced anything for those months yet

There has to be one, we still havent got any updates on unite for example, a Pokémon presents would be perfect to encapsulate all the news they would want to give us

November has pokemon bd/sp and Smt v although the latter is a niche game lol. They could have something for december tho, so i could see the September direct having one game for the holidays, although i dont have any idea of what game it could be

Pokémon is a big release oh yeah forgot about that. With their blockbusters coming out next year, this holiday season seems like the right time to introduce new hardware

Having 2 pokemon games for november and january has them covered probably LOL, they could just sit back and not release anything else and they'd still make bank

That "aiming for 2022" has me both sad and hyped at the same time. Sad cause it could mean its a 2023 game, hyped cause it would mean they will put so many ideas in it that it will be as mind blowing as the first
