Iirc botw dlc was announced pretty early and people complained about that, so they're prob waiting a bit longer.

Not gonna affect the day it drops or how many people buy it so might as well get more done for a better trailer.

I think things could play out one of two ways, and after today we now have a better idea:

Since we didn’t hear about the next 3D Mario, this almost guarantees that it is the launch title for the next Nintendo console. My guess is either holiday 2024 or spring 2025 for that. I think Prime 4 will launch a season or two before the next console/mario game, so likely next summer or winterish
