I can see MP4 finally being the one more thing next week. If not that, a heavy hitter we dont even know about which would be hype af too

Its Kid Icarus

-TOTK: amiibo, new free update adds master mode
-Pokemon: final trailer for dlc for scarlet/violet and maybe gameplay of detective pikachu returns
-Splatoon 3: 2nd dlc “order” trailer
-super Mario rpg: extended look
-Luigi’s mansion 2: release date and trailer
-new Mario wonder trailer
-switch 2 reveal at end
-Metroid prime 4 trailer
-more news about peach game
-another surprise?
Maybe we’ll finally see the return of F-Zero?
Not a brand-new installment, but possibly a re-release
Syluxhunter hinted as such.

I’m sayin’; the Princess Peach game as the opener and MP4 as the closer
Those are already two day-1 cops
(need to see more of the Peach game tho)
Which Pokémon Switch Lite are we talking about though?
Idk man; these AniCross Switch Lites actually look worse than the ones without the printed design IMO

The PKMN SL designs look way more special as ‘special-edition’ systems.
Oh yeah I’d definitely keep that if I were you (I was envious of those who copped that a few years ago
).
Even the Diamond/Pearl one looked flames

Lmao I’ve figured out what the Animal Crossing leaves printed behind the Switch Lites remind me of..
These alien embryos from the Alien movies
No DLC for Tears?
Kinda shocked
Wasn’t there a leak of a DLC mention somewhere on the Japan Nintendo site that some guy discovered before the game was out? Swear I saw that somewhere

Nice. I hope it isn't as trash as last years September Direct which was just an insane amount of JRPG's and Farming simulators back to back for some reason.
Yeah this September Direct could go one of two ways:
It could be really trash cus Nintendo is laying low for now until they’re ready to show off Next gen
Or they have some heavy hitters to still release on Switch and will announce them.
Guess we’ll see

GIV EIT TO ME NOW
“ Another VGC source claimed that Nintendo showcased Epic’s impressive The Matrix Awakens Unreal Engine 5 tech demo – originally released to showcase the power of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2021 – running on target specs for its next console. “
If this is true that’s insane. Depends on what they mean by “target specs” tho.

To me, the fact that to the devs the performances even looked comparable is enough. We all know it's physically impossible to match ps5/xsx with a 20w handheld, but to get to that level of quality where the average person wont notice the downgrade too much is still impressive, and has me excited for what Zelda team, monolith soft, Mario team and retro among others will offer. The PS4 has games like tlou2 after all, a handheld version with newer, better architecture and components is a dream imo
Also, if ue5 demo can run that well on switch 2, prepare for an unseen level of 3rd party support on a Nintendo console between PS4 gen ports, new releases and remasters
Switch 2 shaping up to be the a day one cop
It's releasing alongside the first new 3d Mario in 7 years, of course it will
