yes, I’m aware Metroid Prime actually had an acceptable price, but it seems like the Paper Mario re-release will be $60?

A remaster (not a remake) announced a couple of months ago gets a far-ass release window; then why the heck did they announce it so early?

The paper Mario rerelease is a full remake, they remade all the assets and made lots of changes, like now all the partners and NPCs actually have emotions and are expressive

Yeah you can tell by comparing the new footage to the old footage, new assets, animations, lighting, lots of changes and additions

@op I would really appreciate if you made a list of must own Nintendo Switch games before or after this generation ends alone with which upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 (Or what it'll be called) games to get or look forward too (Including their release date of course) just like I did with the PS4 games and currently the PS5 games. I think it would be a fantastic idea for old and new Nintendo fans

I don’t think any of the DLC is on the cartridge. I think there’s a e-shop code in the packaging that allows you to download the DLC for free.

They marketed Metroid as a remaster, but we can see quite clearly that the amount of work they’ve put in that is closer to a remake than a remaster.
And yet it was priced at $40 (which is the same price Shadow of the Colossus remake on PS4 launched at (TLOU Part I can gtfo : jaymoney :)).

I could stomach SMRPG being full-priced since it was originally an SNES game, but TTYD at $60 would hurt a bit.. given that MPR’s price exists (not to mention TTYD is still 30fps on Switch : jordamused :).

Fun fact: you’ll NEVER see Nintendo use the word “remake” in their marketing, as shown with Link’s Awakening and more recently, SMRPG.

All we need is Mario Kart 9 to have tracks built for 200CC and then we'll never have to hear about F-Zero again.
