visions of mana looks incredible tbh I hope they announce its getting a switch 2 release
enjoyed the demo, def buying it physically
almost finished, very cozy and nostalgic so far
and the hint system is a huge QOL upgrade

are they difficult games though? i'm new to the series but i've been looking forward to it since they showed it in the direct for the first time
played the demo without hints or navigation help

not really they’re pretty basic for the most part, im just impatient 😅 but there are a few that are kinda confusing so its a nice option to have at least and it also tells u where to go if ur lost, which also isn’t very common but still a nice feature
Something I’ve noticed that doesn’t get talked about:
I’ve had a Switch OLED since launch and I play it every week (if not daily); the white Joy-Con’s sticks still haven’t drifted despite there being visible dust at the bottom of the sticks
The Joy-Con pre-OLED were s***e lol
I bought a new pair of regular blue (L) / neon yellow (R) Joy-Con back in 2020, and the blue one started drifting 1.5 year after purchase
Goddamn, the Smash Bros. series turned 25 years old on January 21st
Sakurai is probably in planning stages for Smash 6 as we speak

Every joycon I've had started drifting a few months after purchase tbh
Pro controller, on the other hand, never

I’ve bought 2 red / blue joycons sets early in the Switch life (a year or two in) that have had stick drift
My grey joycons that came with my Switch that I bought a month after launch that still work perfectly
Shot is random tbh
A week and a half until February….. Nintendo Direct hype so soon 👀
I’m shaking lol
Switch 2 announcement at the February Direct?
Direct predictions:
-they tease switch 2 but no full reveal until a later event just for switch 2
-splatoon 3 dlc deep dive
-final look at peach showtime
-paper Mario ttyd remake gets a new trailer
-Luigi’s mansion 2 release date
-new stuff for NSO maybe?
hopefully:
-prime 2 and 3 ports
-a good pokemon game (I’ll take an old game getting rereleased or anything at this point)
-not a bunch of farming games
Switch 2 announcement at the February Direct?
I doubt it
They’re gon treat Switch 2 as exclusively its own thing (random-ass tweet announcing the Switch 2 reveal, going up at 3am from Nintendo cus of Japan time lmao).
I’m sleeping until Switch 2 is announced
If they announce a new Direct for Switch 1 games only, you won’t get excited?
