That’s totally fine man, botw is the type of game you can come back to after a while and feel completely different about. but if it’s not for you it’s not for you, thankfully so many other dope games on the console

I will probably finish SSHD before my current play through of botw
i understand the game’s brilliance but the open ended approach can be overwhelming if you’re trying to see everything
Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Galaxy or Super Mario 3D World. What should I prioritize?
What're your guys thoughts on the replay value of Mario Odyssey?? I picked it up over a year ago used at GameStop and blasted through it then returned it, so really I just got the minimum stars give or take and finished the game. Did I miss out on a lot it has to offer? I've just seen some people complain that there are too many stars. Idk, I'm debating on getting that again or BOTW (which I put about 100 hours into).

Why did you sell it if you don't mind me asking?

Honestly, that game can be played at your own pace. I personally wasn't in any rush to beat it.
I felt that feeling initially, kind of didn't get the hype but after you start to clear more shrines and open up the map more, you start to appreciate the game for what it is.
Take or leave this advice, but my biggest enjoyment was literally just climbing up on random peaks, picking a spot arbitrarily and then just meandering my way there. Usually I would get sidetracked which was great because I found s*** I never would have expected to find.
I just really enjoyed how peaceful the game is most of the time. Just wandering in the open areas and doing s*** was cool to me. It never really felt dull to me personally because I knew that something cool was around every corner.
Don't give up on it quite yet. Play the games you wanna play, and when you feel like picking it back up to finish, go for it!
Replaying PMD: Explorers of Sky right now...
F***ing loved this game so much. Easily my favorite of the series (really like Red Rescue/DX as well). Idk I just find the game very charming yet challenging. It actually has some decent depth mechanic wise that I didn't realize until playing years later.
I do hope they remaster Time/Darkness/Sky just because I feel like they deserve the 3D remaster

Eh I figured I had "beat it" and just wanted to get my money back from GameStop lol. At the time I was a little more strapped for cash than I am currently.

hmmm crimson idk what to tell you I’m stumped
I need to replay lm3 because honestly it’s been a few years now and I’ve forgotten how much it hit, but I remember loving it when it dropped
Galaxy is a classic but not as good as 64 and sunshine imo
3d world i would only recommend if you have friends or family for couch co-op

I won't give up on it yet. I actually had a similar issue with the witcher 3 at first where i couldn't really get into it and could only play in short bursts at a time but it eventually just clicked and now its one of my favorite games of all time. Ill continue hoping on every once in a while for a few hours here and there maybe eventually it'll hook me in

Word, yeah open world games sometimes are a slow burn. Not sure where you are in the game. I didn’t really start f***ing with it heavy until about 15 hours in. Once you start to realize the depth of the game, it gets really good
i really f***ing hope capcom fixes the framerate issue in MHS2 specially after all those f***ing commercials, trailers and E3 coverage
